I believe in God. I believe that God is outside of humankind’s concept of space and time and created the universe, and everything and everyone in the universe, by being outside of the universe. I believe that the big bang theory, or any and all theories, could be legitimate but that no human “knows” the truth. I believe that, however the universe and humans came to be, God created it all, from nothing, which can’t be done if you are inside the creation. Therefore, whatever you want to call “God”, there is something outside (above) our universe that started the universe.
I believe God is not a physical being with a body that would be recognized by humans. I believe that God is genderless, since gender is a physical trait of physical bodies. However, I will always refer to God as Him, since I was raised Catholic and still believe the tenants of original Catholicism. I now believe that I am “Beyond Catholic” as I’ve taken their teachings and expanded it into the universe instead of keeping it in a building with a priest.
