6-7-22 Clutch: Both Christianity and Ho'oponopono highlight the importance of asking for forgiveness (from the "divine" or God) as well. I've found other sources that talk about it as well. I think it's also a major factor.

Me: I question the need for forgiveness and am really starting to think that we are all where we're supposed to be (like a program) and all of our mistakes that need forgiveness have brought us to where we are.

Clutch: In Ho'oponopono philosophy, forgiveness sets up the process for deleting bad data in your script/program. I find this critical to self-development.

Also, "God" doesn't need you to ask for forgiveness. But, "you" still need forgiveness. God survives just fine with or without us. So it's still about self development.
